Research on the Impact of Extreme Weather on the Operation of Beijing Power Grid

  • In recent years, frequent occurrences of extreme weather have posed a serious threat to the safety and stable operation of the power grid and reliable electricity supply, making it an issue that cannot be overlooked. In order to implement the important instructions for disaster prevention, reduction, and relief work, enhance the intrinsic safety of energy and power supply, and actively promote the modernization of the natural disaster prevention and control system and capabilities, this article investigates the impact of extreme weather on the operation of the Beijing power grid. It conducts a research and analysis from the perspective of equipment, evaluates the impact of extreme weather on the power equipment of the Beijing power grid, assesses existing response measures and identifies the existing problems, and provides relevant recommendations.
