Design of Electric Bicycle Charging Monitoring System Based on HPLC Local Communication Technology

  • In recent years, fire safety accidents in the charging process of electric bicycles have increased year by year. In order to avoid fire hazards of battery in charging process of electric bicycles, it is urgent to develop a battery charging monitoring system for electric bicycles which is suitable for electrical environment. Through the terminal voltage, temperature and transient drop detection methods of the battery, the health of the battery can be comprehensively identified. And through hybrid power line communication (HPLC) local communication technology, the collected battery status is transmitted to the charger through the charging line, the charger monitors and records the real-time safety status of each bicycle battery, and controls the charging switches. At the same time, the battery status of each bicycle is formed into an electronic electronic tag and uploaded to the background main station and cloud platform, which establishes a file for the health and safety of electric bicycle batteries and provides an efficient monitoring method for real-time charging safety.
