Environmental Impact Analysis and Cost Calculation of Power Cable Based on Life Cycle Cost Theory

  • Based on the theory of life cycle management, this paper develops a method to analyze the life cycle environmental impact of power equipment. Taking power cable as an example, the environmental impact analysis and cost calculation of the whole life cycle are carried out, and the main emission content of each stage is obtained, and the cost trend of each part is changed when different parameters are changed. The example analysis shows that, from the perspective of environmental impact of power cable, the environmental impact in the production stage mainly lies in a large amount of wastewater discharge, the impact in the operation stage mainly lies in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission, and the impact in the decommissioning and recycling stage is small. From the perspective of power cable cost analysis, operating costs increase proportionally with load increments.
