Feasibility Study on Loop Closing and Loop Breaking in Comprehensive Non-power Outage Operation

  • With the rapid development of the social economy, the construction of distribution networks has increased, and there are more and more projects for line reconfiguration.The paper explores the uninterrupted maintenance mode of overhead power lines in distribution networks, analyzes typical scenarios of bypass operation and different line loop connection. Matlab/Simulink is used to simulate and analyze the electrical transient characteristics during loop closing and loop breaking under uninterrupted operation. The paper clarifies that safety technical measures must be taken when performing loop closing and breaking operations under various working conditions.
