The Utility Model Relates to an Intelligent Photovoltaic Junction Box

  • Intelligent Concentrator Box is generally applied separately in AC grid-connected power generation systems and serves as a device connecting inverter and photovoltaic component. There has been no application in hydrogen production system nor as a selectively installed device. This paper proposes a new type of intelligent concentrator box with high photovoltaic component utilization rate, comprehensive functions, and the ability to flexibly switch between two grid-connected systems according to user needs. The intelligent concentrator box consists of current collecting circuit, control unit, interlocking circuit, intermediate relay group, output relay group, fans, and casing. The concentrating circuit is equipped with lightning protection module, and the control unit communicates with the main station through RS485. This device can achieve switching function, collecting function, and lightning protection function between photovoltaic power generation and hydrogen production systems.
