Reducing the Average Troubleshooting Time for Fault Points in Distribution Network

  • To address the problem of the long average time for identifying fault points in power distribution network, which is caused by the high number of line faults during grid operation, the complexity of reasons for grounding in the power distribution network, and the difficulty in troubleshooting, this paper proposes a method for shortening the average time for identifying fault points in power distribution network based on the "Yitishuanghe" system. First, various reasons for the long time required for identifying grounding fault points are analyzed, and the main problems that increase the time for identifying fault points are identified. Secondly, a strategy is developed to quickly determine the scope of grounding faults, thereby reducing the time required to find grounding fault points. A method for shortening the average time for identifying fault points in power distribution network based on the "Yitishuanghe" system is established. Finally, the proposed method is compared with traditional methods. Experimental results show that the troubleshooting system constructed by this method is reasonable and feasible, effectively reducing the average time for identifying fault points in power distribution network.
