Research and Application of Dual Modes of "Online Monitoring + Live Detection" for Substation Switchgear

  • High voltage switchgear is an important component of power equipment. During long-term operation, high-voltage switchgear is affected by factors such as environmental temperature, humidity, material properties of power equipment, and vibrations generated by electrical forces. To ensure the safe and stable operation of high-voltage switchgear, this article adopts a dual mode monitoring system of "online monitoring + live detection", which effectively combines online status monitoring with partial discharge detection. Real time monitoring of the operating status of high-voltage switchgear is achieved through online monitoring of temperature, humidity, and fan. Transient ground voltage detection (TEV) and ultrasonic detection (AE) are used to achieve partial discharge detection of high-voltage switchgear, effectively prevent overheating or condensation of switchgear, promptly identify potential hazards and trends in electrical equipment, and effectively reduce the failure rate of switchgear.
