Analysis of Preventive Measures for External Force Damage Accidents in Transmission and Distribution Power Lines

  • External force damage to transmission and distribution power lines has led to incidents such as collapsed towers, broken lines, tripping, and power supply interruptions, posing a threat to the safe and stable operation of the power grid. This paper analyzes common external force damage accidents, elucidates their characteristics, delves into the underlying causes, and proposes preventive measures. The causes of external force damage incidents in power lines need to be analyzed from the perspectives of natural environmental changes, socio-economic development, and human activity habits. Considering these factors, effective preventive measures should be implemented in the planning, design, construction coordination, and daily maintenance of power lines to ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment.
