Development of Voltage Sag Prevention Device for Customer Side

  • This article draws inspiration from the UPS uninterruptible power supply system and plans to develop a device to prevent voltage sag on the user side. Based on actual needs, bypass and power electronic devices will be installed on the power load to instantly automatically compensate for voltage sag, prevent production interruption caused by voltage sag, and fill the gap in the lack of fast and automatic voltage stabilization devices. The working process of the voltage stabilization device envisioned in this article is to use a bypass with power electronic components. When a voltage drop below 0.8 p.u. occurs, the bypass will automatically start and compensate for the voltage as soon as possible. At the same time, an alarm message will be sent to the factory personnel to inform them of the time of the voltage drop, protecting equipment safety and production quality.
