Application and Development of Digital Technology in Distribution Networks under the Background of New Power Systems

  • In order to meet the requirements of grid connection and consumption of new energy, and to support the widespread integration of interactive facilities such as distributed resources, energy storage, and charging piles into the distribution network, and to address the current problems of insufficient coverage of distribution network sensing devices, diverse local communication protocols, insufficient data utilization, and disorderly distributed resource management, it is proposed to deeply integrate advanced digital technology with the distribution network, and support the construction of new power systems with digital and intelligent technology, Promote the digital transformation of distribution networks. This article analyzes and studies the current situation of the IoT perception system in the distribution network, the layout of the perception system, and typical digital applications. It proposes to use digital technology to transform and enhance traditional distribution network business, and develop an overall plan for digital transformation of the distribution network; Finally, the challenges and key technologies faced by the digital construction of distribution networks are discussed, providing some thinking and reference for the next step of digital transformation and development of distribution networks.
