Case Analysis of 110 kV Transformer Bushing Moisture Defiance

This paper introduces a moisture defect of a 110 kV transformer Bushing found by dissolved gases analysis (DGA). Based on the comprehensive analysis of the DGA, a variety of diagnostic tests and the disintegration of the equipment, the main cause has been identified. Solutions and preventive methods have been proposed, which have a practical significance to the safe operation of the transformer.
