Development of Low-Voltage Distribution Transformer Cable Outlet Protection Device

  • The aim of this study is to address the issue of potential short circuits in cable outlets in low-voltage distribution networks. For this purpose, we have designed a new type of protective tube, which mainly consists of three parts: polytetrafluoroethylene tube, connecting mechanism, and protective mechanism. This protective tube can effectively protect the cable from the influence of the external environment, and can be quickly installed and disassembled for easy troubleshooting. This protective tube can effectively reduce cable failure rate and improve the stability and reliability of power supply. This achievement has a positive contribution to the development of the power industry and provides a new solution to solve the hidden danger of short circuits in low-voltage distribution and transformation cables.
