Research on Ice and Snow Disaster Management of Overhead Lines in Gaoyuan Wind Farm

  • The overhead transmission lines of Gaoyuan Wind Farm suffer significant losses due to icing in winter. Overloading, ice flashing, dancing, and jumping off ice often occur, leading to accidents such as line tripping, disconnection, tower collapse, and communication interruption. Through nearly 3 years of technical research and experimental improvement, we have developed line deicing and anti jumping measures and DC ice melting solutions specific to the Gaoyuan Wind Farm. This plan can effectively address the impact of ice and snow disasters on the overhead lines of Gaoyuan Wind Farm.
