A Method of Repairing 10 kV Overhead Bare Conductor without Power Failure

  • 10 kV overhead conductors are mainly erected on both sides of the road and other places where people and vehicles are concentrated, and the distance to the ground is limited, which is prone to accidents such as accidental collision of large construction machinery, tree covering and lightning strikes, leading to conductor damage, broken strand and other faults. According to the wire diameter damage caused by external force damage of 10 kV overhead bare conductor, combined with the existing new tools, new materials and new technology, a method of cutting and reconnecting the overhead bare conductor without power failure is proposed to ensure that the mechanical strength and electrical performance of the repaired conductor meet the requirements of the operation standard, and the power consumption of the line users will not be affected during the repair process.
