Practice of Microgrid Construction in Commercial City Buildings Considering Cold Coordinated and Optimized Operation of Optical Energy Storage

  • Yiwu is the "Capital of Small Commodities in the World". The industrial characteristics of "commerce and logistics" have formed distinct regional electricity consumption characteristics. Yiwu Power Grid has a rapid growth in photovoltaic technology, tight power supply capacity, and high peak valley difference. Overall, it presents typical receiver characteristics of "limited source, dense network, tight network, limited storage, and insufficient interaction". The International Trade City is a typical energy user in Yiwu. In order to effectively reduce the cost of electricity, realize the efficient use of various resources inside the building, help energy conservation and emission reduction, and improve the mutual aid ability between the Trade City and the power grid, the State Grid Yiwu Power Supply Company carried out the practice of building micro grid construction of the Trade City considering the cold coordinated and optimized operation of optical energy storage. The building's microgrid integrates multiple load side resources such as photovoltaic, energy storage, and phase change material (PCM) cold storage by creating a localized smart energy management platform. Through coordinated optimization and control, the platform has normal operation, economic operation, low-carbon operation, microgrid operation, power control operation, and power control operation modes, helping to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, and dual carbon goals.
