Research of Feedback Automation Technology Considering the Dead-zone Fault

  • This paper analyzes the logic of the centralized FA handling with the distribution network breakdown. FA used now is not suitable for the switch dead-zone fault. An improved technology is proposed by using the characteristics of the "three remote" switches relay protection before the located fault area to achieve distribution network fault location, isolation, restoration of power for fault region and avoid cutting power repeatedly and expanding scope blackout. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through case analysis.
