Research on a Fast Recovery Technology for Emergency Repair of 110 kV High Voltage Cable Faults

  • In order to solve the problem of long recovery time for high-voltage cable faults at present, a fast recovery technology for 110 kV high-voltage cable faults is proposed. Firstly, based on the insulation structure and finite element numerical analysis of the electric field distribution of the plug-in quick connector for high-voltage power cables, a connector capable of achieving fast docking functions for cables with different cross-sections is developed. Then, by utilizing bidirectional rapid cable deployment and retrieval technology, the rapid connection and separation of cables after faults can be further achieved to meet practical engineering needs. Finally, an integrated emergency repair platform for rapid recovery of high-voltage cables was constructed, and emergency repair equipment for rapid recovery of high-voltage cables was developed. The relevant performance test results indicate that the equipment significantly shortens the emergency repair time of high-voltage cables and has good economic and social benefits.
