Research on an Intelligent Protective Device Against Electric Shock Caused by Accumulated Water in Power Facilities

  • In view of the lack of current electric shock prevention technology for power facilities, this paper develops an intelligent device that can detect the potential of water and send out an electric shock alarm message. When the water level does not reach the threshold depth, the potential is displayed; When the threshold depth is reached, triggering the alarm can effectively ensure the personal safety of power operators and power users, reduce the casualty rate of electric shock, improve the reliability of power supply in the case of ponding of power facilities, and reduce the economic losses caused by power supply interruption.
