Discussion on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Measures for Road Lighting Under the Goal of Carbon Dioxide Peaking

This paper is based on the work requirements of the"Implementation Plan for Carbon Dioxide Peaking in Urban and Rural Construction" issued in June 2022 for carbon dioxide peaking in the urban lighting industry, and makes a preliminary discussion on the path of promoting carbon emission reduction in the field of road lighting from the perspectives of planning, design, construction, operation, control of excessive lighting and light pollution, promotion of energyefficient products, and digital applications, etc, and also makes corresponding suggestions for specific measures.
