Development of a Special Tooling for the Installation of 500 kV GIL Pipeline

Based on the GIL pipeline transformation project of a 500 kV substation in Beijing, a special tooling for forklift is developed according to these characteristics, for instance, time-crunched, compaction of equipment in operation region, low altitude of bus to ground.After putting into use, the construction period is greatly shortened, meanwhile, the construction cost is saved and the safety risk is reduced. The social and economic benefits brought by the tooling are considerable, as a consequence, this special tooling is worthy of popularizing and applying.
