Design and Application of a Double Deck Double Transformer Box Type Substation

  • This paper presents a design scheme of double deck double transformer box type substation.The stability of transformer installation on the second floor and the convenience of transformer maintenance are evaluated.The economic benefits of the scheme are obvious. Compared with two ordinary single-layer box type substations (European transformer substation) with the same function, the box type substation with double-layer and double transformers structure has a 41%reduction in floor area and a 42%reduction in land resource occupation.The product is small in size and light in weight.The installation and transportation costs are reduced by 50%.At the same time, more economic benefits will be brought by combining the transformer design with higher energy efficiency and photovoltaic top cover. It brings a new idea for the design of small-sized box type substation.
