The Finite Element Analysis of Wedge Tension Clamp Based on ANSYS Workbench

  • In order to classify the reliability of wedge tension clamp design. Using 3D modeling software to build model and then analyzing its structure with the finite element software. Based on explicit dynamics analyzing method, simulate the entire stretching process with the model. Finally the above simulation results are verified by tensile test which shows that the lug of the model has large deformation when the tensile value reaches 150 kN. The results show that the structure of the existing design is reliable.
