Present Situation and Development Prospect of Localized protection technology

Localized protection technology is an important research direction of relay protection. The current situation of localized protection technology is introduced and analyzed from the aspects of design scheme of whole substation, realization scheme, mode of operation and maintenance. On the basis, the future of Localized protection technology is discussed. The localized relay protection will be promoted by wireless access technology and integration technology of primary and secondary equipments.
