Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of the transmission line press-connect tubes detection, a UAV charged X-ray detection method is proposed for transmission line press-connect tubes, which is based on the X-ray detection technique principles, combined with applying drones, operating drones to carry detectors and digital imaging panels, to finalising live X-ray inspection. According to the actual work the effect of on-site, this working method not only reduces personal risks, but also improves work efficiency and meets the needs of on-site work.
