Abstract:
As low-carbon development accelerates in urban and rural areas, the construction of AC cable lines and underground gas pipelines has formed a complicated network, leading to a situation in which these underground systems operate parallel to or intersect. The stray current produced by operating AC cable lines poses a serious threat to the safety of buried metal pipe. This paper outlines the evaluating indicator for evaluating the interference of AC cable lines with underground gas pipelines, predicts and assesses the electromagnetic impact on gas pipelines using simulation technology, and put forward the protection scheme design.
