Abstract:
With the rapid development and wide application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the power transmission area, the power transmission has gradually entered the era of machine patrol and human patrol supplement. Manual inspection is usually limited to ground perspectives, resulting in low defect detection rates and inspection efficiency. On the other hand, UAVs can identify defects and hidden dangers from a high-altitude perspective that are difficult for manual inspection to detect. They independently perform infrared temperature measurement, point cloud scanning, tower measurement, and defect analysis. This capability not only enhances the operational capacity for intelligent inspection of transmission lines but also extends their application scenarios to fields such as post-disaster assessment, line acceptance, and defect rectification. UAVs progressively realize intelligent inspection of transmission lines and promote the advancement of the power transmission field towards intelligent and digital operations.
