Abstract: Heating of drainage plate joints is a common defect in overhead transmission lines, this article analyzes the heating problem of joints in the Beijing area, provides a detailed introduction to the four mainstream solutions currently in use, as well as their advantages and disadvantages, and proposes corresponding improvement measures and suggestions. It has certain guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of heating defects in the drainage plate joints of overhead transmission lines.
