Abstract: Electric meter changing technologies now available are with several issues generally so that less practical. Therefore, a new method with strong practicability is presented in this paper. Basic steps of this method is firstly to connect the new meter parallal by meter chaging wires, then to detach the old meter, finally to install the new meter. This method shows some advantages, such as no consumer power cut, no energy loss, simple on energy handing over and taking over, welldone on insulation protection.
