Abstract: In order to thoroughly implement the national "double carbon" strategic goal, help rural poverty alleviation and new rural construction, vigorously develop the rural photovoltaic power generation market is one of the main means at present and in the future. Through field research, this paper analyzes the development of photovoltaic power in Guyuan City of Ningxia during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period and the economic benefits brought to the villagers, and takes the successful practice of Pengyang County as an example to explain in detail the important role of photovoltaic power generation projects in rural revitalization. It also looks forward to its development prospects in the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan". Practical data and development planning show that photovoltaic power generation projects play an indispensable role in the revitalization of rural construction.
