Abstract: In recent years, incidents of equipment tripping or failure caused by small animals touching live equipment have occurred from time to time. The situation of preventing small animals in substation is very serious. Combined with the characteristics of small animals, the requirements of different equipment in the substation for preventing small animals are analyzed, and the corresponding treatment measures are formulated to improve the operation reliability of the equipment.
